Celebrating Moms: Strength, Sacrifice & Community
Mother’s Day is a special time to recognize the incredible women who do so much for their families, their children, and their communities every single day.
Moms are often the first ones up and the last ones to rest. They are the organizers, caregivers, chauffeurs, teachers, cheerleaders, problem-solvers, and emotional support system for the entire family. Whether they work full-time, part-time, run a business, stay home with their children, or balance multiple roles at once, moms are constantly giving their time, energy, and love to make sure everything gets done.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, a large percentage of mothers with children at home are part of the workforce, with many balancing full-time or part-time jobs while still managing the responsibilities of family life. On top of work, moms continue to handle school schedules, meals, appointments, practices, homework, errands, and the countless little things that keep a household moving.
At Master Park’s Black Belt America, we see firsthand how much moms do. They bring their children to class, support their goals, encourage them through challenges, and help build the confidence, discipline, and character that martial arts teaches. Our moms are a huge part of our martial arts family, and we are truly grateful for them.
To celebrate and empower the hardworking moms in our community, we are excited to offer two special events designed just for moms:
Zumba Dance Night
Friday, May 15th
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Come enjoy a fun, high-energy Zumba dance class filled with music, movement, laughter, and good vibes. This is a great opportunity for moms to take a break, move their bodies, and enjoy a night for themselves.
Moms & Muay Thai Self-Defense Workshop
Friday, May 29th
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
This fun and exciting workshop is designed to help moms feel strong, confident, and empowered. Participants will learn basic Muay Thai striking, practical self-defense skills, confidence-building techniques, and enjoy a great workout in a supportive and welcoming environment.
No experience is needed for either event. These nights are about having fun, feeling strong, learning something valuable, and taking a little time for yourself.
And remember — training is always more fun with friends! Bring another mom, sister, friend, neighbor, or coworker and enjoy a powerful night of fitness, confidence, and community.
This Mother’s Day, we want every mom to know:
You are appreciated. You are strong. You are valued. And you deserve to be celebrated.
Join us this May at Master Park’s Black Belt America for a celebration of movement, confidence, self-defense, and community.
