Since 1989, Master Park's Black Belt America has provided its members with a road map to success based on self-defense, confidence, and goal-setting

When I began my martial arts journey at the age of 5, the positive impact it had on my life was remarkable. It was always my dream to someday own my own school and when I opened the first Master Park's Black Belt America school in 1989, I made a commitment to our community in Marlboro to create an enjoyable environment for students to improve their fitness while building the confidence they can carry into their everyday lives.
To meet the demand for training, in 2008 we added a second school in Freehold, New Jersey. Then in 2012, we added a location in Wall, New Jersey, in 2013 another location in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and in 2014 opened our fifth location in Morganville, New Jersey.
Master Park's Black Belt America has created a community of committed and positive martial arts instructors and students who continually strive to improve the physical, mental, and social aspects of their lives.
As soon as you become a martial arts student, you join a community that works together toward improved physical strength and stamina, better focus and concentration, greater self-discipline, competency in self-defense, and, most importantly, increased self-confidence.
We focus on the personal development aspect of martial arts, not just self-defense moves.
Our instructors are all certified black belts, qualified and professionally trained to teach martial arts.
Our facility is always clean and features a viewing area for parents, as well as matted floors throughout.
We are committed to teaching the physical skills of martial arts while applying attitude-shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in each student. Through weekly martial arts training, instructors advance their own martial arts and educational knowledge to become even more effective martial arts teachers.
The Master Park's Black Belt America instructors are required to maintain their personal level of martial arts knowledge and a high level of personal growth. They are expected to take classes on a regular basis and test at least once per year.
Our staff looks forward to working with you.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art practiced by Master Park's Black Belt America students. The name Taekwondo is derived from the Korean word "Tae" meaning foot, "Kwon" meaning fist, and "Do", meaning way of. Taekwondo literally means "the way of the foot and fist." It is characterized by the use of high standing and jump kicks as well as punches and is practiced for sport, self-defense, and spiritual development.
The journey from White Belt to Black Belt is one of incremental learning and skill development, that students of any age and fitness level can embark on.
One of the most fun parts of martial arts training is the ability to test your skills by competing in a tournament. Tournaments are not only fun for competitors, but they also become a great social experience for parents as well!
From sparring to forms to team demos, these awesome competitions are not only a place where our students can test their skills, but also a place where team spirit is built, fears are overcome, and character is developed. Most importantly, they are tons of fun!
One more reason you will love martial arts at Master Park's Black Belt America!
